Tips How To Optimize Your Shopify Store With AI in 2023

I have to tell you...I have been playing in AI and having so much fun while working. It used to take me so long to think of ideas for all the blogs I write (for clients as well) and then keep optimizing online stores for better SEO and traffic.
Google has turned us all a bit upside down in 2022 with the new guidelines to ranking on Google. Although, they have been talking about improvements for years and now it actually happened.
So what is the most important thing?
User experience on your website (which means 'Content is King') and answering the users search intent. This means if somebody searches for a particular piece of information and they find your information, do you give them the relevant answers that they are looking for.
Have you ever gone beyond Page 1 on Google when you are looking for something? I don't! I just change my search query...do you?
I bet most people do.
So the answer to the pitching up on #1 Page of Google is more content, more information on ALL your pages.
So I have been using AI to write, rewrite and improve content on the Shopify stores in the last months.
AI is one of the best tools I have used for the last couple of years and ChatGPT has just topped the list.
Before I give that example, here is a wee backstory to my knowledge of all things internet and websites.
Having obtained my MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification) the Business teacher at my son's highschool decided I should teach the students how to build websites for National competition. After a short argument (how can you say to no to the teacher) I bought myself the 'Build A Website in 24 Hours'. Well it took me a week to understand HTML and I was off.
So many years later...I still retain some of the basics and I have dabbled in coding a wee bit. But as you know...use it or lose it. So every time I needed to code HTML etc, I would have to do research to make it happen.
ENTER AI! with ChatCPT 4.0 I can now ask AI to do the coding for me. Nothing too complicated, but still had to be responsive (good for mobile), use CSS (to make it look pretty) and obviously some HTML.
So instead of taking HOURS and sometime days, I had my code in minutes.
Boom done!
Improve Shopify store with AI
1. FAQ pages with the correct Google code and it looks good on desktop or mobile.
2. Amazon style product specification on the product pages.

3. Very cool FAQs on the product page in different styles.

4. Digital music for download and streaming on product page.

5. Recipe style for my blogs without relying on more apps.

AND here is the Google Rich Snippets in the code:

6. Quick newsletter signup for the middle of my blogs.
PSST: It is a real signup block...so go ahead and sign up!
7. Creating a Facebook ad text with emojis (a few too many but who is counting)

Building and Increasing Traffic
THEN, I started building my blogs for my clients which will be improving and increasing their rankings and traffic to the Shopify stores.
1. 30 topics for one client for the month for interior design and information for the blogs with headings.
2. Building out each main blog topic to start each blog.
3. 20 topics for my new site about Marula Oil and benefits for the skin and hair.
Now I start searching online to see what other people have blogged and check traffic to the blogs.
3. Improving all my old blogs to have more relevant information and in more detail.
Each old blog needs to have more in depth relevant information according to the new Google requirements for ranking.
I will either combine my blogs to create more relevant information or start with more topics to increase the content already in the blog.
This is saving me HOURS of writing. I still have to edit and add my own spin to my blogs. AI tends to get repetitive with some subjects.

How to Use AI for Customer Segmentation: Identifying Your High-Value Shoppers Without a Data Science Degree
By Veronica Jeans, Bestselling Author June 20, 2025
Not all customers are created equal.
That's not controversial—you already know that some shoppers spend more, shop more frequently, or influence more people than others. The challenge has always been identifying exactly who these valuable customers are and understanding what makes them different.
Traditional customer segmentation (grouping by age, location, or basic purchase history) only tells part of the story. It's like trying to understand a person by knowing only their height and shoe size.
AI-powered segmentation, on the other hand, can analyze hundreds of behavior patterns and purchasing signals to identify your most valuable customer groups with remarkable precision—without requiring you to become a data scientist.
According to McKinsey & Company, businesses that excel at personalization generate 40% more revenue from targeted activities. The foundation of this personalization? Sophisticated customer segmentation.
In this guide, I'll walk you through how e-commerce store owners can leverage AI for customer segmentation in practical, actionable ways—even if terms like "neural networks" and "regression analysis" make your eyes glaze over.

From Shopify to Social: Creating a Seamless Multi-Channel Experience Without Losing Your Mind
By Veronica Jeans, Bestselling Author June 13, 2025
Remember when having a beautiful Shopify store was enough? Those simple days are long gone.
Today's customers don't think in channels—they seamlessly flow between your Instagram shop, TikTok videos, Facebook marketplace, and Shopify store, expecting a consistent experience at every touchpoint.
According to Harvard Business Review, customers who engage with brands across multiple channels spend 4% more on every shopping occasion in-store and 10% more online than single-channel customers. Even more compelling, with each additional channel they use, their spending increases.
But here's the challenge: while customers experience your brand holistically, you're often managing these channels through disconnected tools, platforms, and strategies—leading to inconsistency, duplicate work, and quite frankly, entrepreneur burnout.
In this guide, I'll walk you through how to create a truly connected multi-channel experience that feels seamless to your customers without requiring you to work 80-hour weeks or hire a team of specialists. This is about working smarter, not harder, across all your sales and marketing channels.

Beyond Chatbots: 5 Practical AI Tools Every E-commerce Store Owner Should Be Using in 2025
By Veronica Jeans, Bestselling Author June 09, 2025
When most e-commerce store owners think about AI, they immediately picture chatbots answering customer questions. And yes, those are useful (when implemented well).
But here's the truth: focusing only on chatbots is like buying a smartphone just to make phone calls.
The real power of AI for your e-commerce business lies in the less flashy, behind-the-scenes applications that can dramatically improve your operations, marketing, and bottom line.
According to a recent McKinsey report, businesses that fully embrace AI tools are seeing revenue increases of 3-15% and cost reductions of 10-25%. Yet many store owners aren't tapping into this potential because they don't know where to start beyond the chatbot.
In this post, I'll walk you through five practical, high-impact AI tools that go far beyond customer service automation. These are the tools that my most successful clients are already implementing to create significant competitive advantages in their stores.
